Permanent Collections & Student Projects
The Permanent Collection of Art consists of approximately 200 works of art, consisting mostly of works created by our art students, and a smaller percentage acquired from artists who have exhibited here. The Permanent Collection is displayed all over the campus, in offices and in public areas. We take great pride in this collection which allows us all to enjoy objects of great visual and humanist interest in many of the places where we work and study. They constantly remind us of the achievement, creativity, and individuality of their creators long after those persons have moved on. The permanent Collection is a living history of the college, keeping a record of our College's life year by year, and class by class. The College is in the process of extending the Permanent Collection by the acquisition of a special collection of works by Barclay Sheaks, Associate Professor of Art and Distinguished Artist in Residence.
