Teaching Teachers
From 2002-2005, I was the Virginia Wesleyan College Coordinator of a $984,161 U.S. Department of Education Teaching American History grant designed to improve knowledge of U.S. history among secondary school teachers in the Virginia Beach Public Schools system. This was the fourth largest Teaching American History grant awarded in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I designed and supervised all of the courses taught to the Virginia Beach teachers under this grant. I offered the following courses:
