Released by the University of Hawaii in 1986. This cultivar is named for the Hawaiian astronaut that died in the explosion of the Space Shuttle Challenger (January 28, 1986). The spathe can attain a length of 8.5 inches and a width of 6.5. The plant is resistant anthracnose (Kamenoto and Kuehnle, 1996). |
