'Marian Seefurth' was released by the University of Hawaii in 1963. It is a high-yielding cultivar -- 6.9 inflorescences/year -- (Kamenoto, 1981). Plants are highly resistant to anthracnose, but they are extremely susceptible to bacterial blight. (Kamenoto and Kuehnle, 1996). |
