This cultivar is the result of a mutation found while propagating C. humboldtii by tissue culture. It occurred in the laboratory of Marcel Lecoufle (1981). In the greenhouse, this plant is only about 8 cm tall. The blade of the leaf ranges from about 3.5 to 5 cm in length and 2 to 3.5 cm in width.
