This easily grown species is native to Thailand, Burma, and Malaya (pp. 75-76. Baker, M.L. and C.O. Baker. 1991. Orchid Species Culture. Timber Press. Portland, Oregon). P. cornu-cervi blooms during the summer. The flowers are about 2.5 cm long. It is growing on fir bark contained in a pot.
