The fourth annual VWC High School Mathematics Contest was held Saturday February 23, 2002. The winners were: David Choe, Grafton, $5000 scholarship to VWC Helen Hou, Ocean Lakes, $2000 scholarship to VWC Jerry Stasulis, Ocean Lakes, $1000 scholarship to VWC and the other three finalists in alphabetical order $500 scholarships to VWC each Heather Howell, Grafton Jonathan Kamyathy, Ocean Lakes Kendall Merriman, Ocean Lakes The highest scoring school award went to Ocean Lakes for the second year in a row.
